a list of folk cds...

Yes, I can have a very sharp tongue.

By the way, here's an eclectic little list of some good folk cds that you've probably already heard of:

I have heard all of these, and really like them all. They are in the order of my thought process, but not in order of importance.

Spanish Blood--Edgar Cruz
Lonely Runs Both Ways--(Duh) Alison Krauss
Love and Thunder--Andrew Peterson
This Bright Hour--Fernando Ortega
Somewhere Along the Road--Cathie Ryan
Kate Rusby and Kathryn Roberts--Guess Who?
The Words that Remain--Solas
One Moment More--Mindy Smith
Arnish Light--Tannahill Weavers
Silly Wizard Live--Silly Wizard
The Graceful Ghost--Grey DeLisle
Into the Cauldron--Chris Thile and Mike Marshall
Appalachia Waltz--Mark O'Connor, Edgar Meyer, Yo-Yo Ma
Blueprint--Natalie MacMaster (this one has some really good cuts, but is definitely not my favorite...
The Man Comes Around--Johnny Cash
Wondrous Love and Where the Sun Never Goes Down--Chanticleer
Down the Old Plank Road--The Chieftains
Tales from the Acoustic Planet--Bela Fleck

This should suffice for now.

Quite eclectic, indeed. Just seeing these names makes me think of the way they must look. Mike Marshall looks like a *lizard*, I know, but what about the others... hmmm... the Tannahail Weavers, maybe like those weird, spidery, twiny animals on the old Celtic jewelry... Bela Fleck like a mole that never sees daylight:p ...
