the world turns without you!
I came home.
~My brothers' dresser is now painted the submarine gray of their bunkbeds, and is no longer bright 70's yellow.
~Ruby, "all alonely" in the girls' room, moved into the boys' room (in Frac's absence). Her knick-knacks are on their dresser, and her stuff is all over Frac's bed. Now she's saying she doesn't want to move out.
~Pearl's hair is short.
~Ruby can look me in the eye. She turns twelve tomorrow.
~Frac is hobbling and hopping around on one foot, looking very perky and eating very little.
~Brother1 will give me a hug.
~the computer is running seriously low on disc space. (all of a sudden... >_>)
~Frac has ten times as many toys as he knows what to do with, all of them very cool.
~I had real food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
~I have a note on the fridge: "call Henry about movie project: (***) *** ****" And I also find a stack of college junk mail on my desk, and a mysterious pile of stuff that migrated from my sister's rolling desk.
~I discovered that aforementioned Birthday Girl's party is actually being planned and executed by myself. (funny, I missed that assignment...)
~And the email inbox is full to bursting.
The list could go on for awhile, but I'm going to bed now.
Good night! :)

Oh, look, another wanderer returned! It's fun to go to your blogs (Samwise's, too) and find something to read. It sounds as though you've grown a lot over the past month.
Give Ruby my best birthday wishes, as I won't see her for a week or two. She told me about moving into the boys' room, and I'm not surprised she doesn't want to leave. :o) Now you finally get a room (almost) to yourself. *grin*
begging the questions:
~why won't you see Ruby for a week or two?
~seeing as I've said nothing particularly relevant to the topic, whence comes the idea that I've grown a lot over the past month? :o)
I did have the room all to myself for one night, but I couldn't enjoy it properly. By the time I got to it, it was 2AM, and I really could care less about who was in the room and who wasn't.
Last night I shared with Mutti and Christa. By the time I got in there, it was late enough. They were already asleep. Again, I didn't enjoy it much.
It's good to be back! An email reply will be forthcoming in the next week, but I know you're going off to Crooked Creek. And I guess I just answered my first question. (Batty!) Hope you have a good time!
~Annie
As you said, you've already answered your first question. :o)
I have a suspicion that you've grown. Knowing you, you've probably put on a couple of inches. But I was speaking more in the metaphorical sense.... :o) I don't think God would let you go away for a month, submerse you in His teaching, and then bring you back without teaching you *something*.
Get some sleep tonight! *grins*
I echo the delight in finding new material to read! It's been rather slow this past month, all over really. Glad you're back again and the family enjoys it I'm sure.
You might try downloading CCleaner, it will clear up all of those temporary files that Windows leaves there (there was over a gigabyte of wasted space on Missy's computer) and a few other things. It's free, small, and powerful. Other than that, I don't know how to help, space is a physical problem and may require either deletion of old files, or (the best solution) a new hard drive! Yay!
Hi! Welcome back! I really wish you hadn't been reading last night.
Wow!
