Tonight Mama got on Amazon and ordered me a copy of the Latin Vulgate. I am SO EXCITED!
It cost me a pretty penny. >:-/
But it's olive green leather bound with gold lettering, it looks just like a regular Bible, and it's the actual thing as translated by St. Jerome. The topic of Biblical language and translation holds great fascination for me... I'm really excited to read and understand a great historic text of the Bible (something I read every day), even if it ISN'T the Torah or the Koine Greek. :)

A chickadee sort of fits you. Sometimes. When I think of you, I usually think of something that's a lot taller and more graceful than a chickadee. To my mind, a chickadee is more of a Christa-bird, if you understand me.
Well, if you saw all the possibilities, you would agree that the chickadee probably suits me best. Birds (as a rule) aren't "tall and graceful."
I got "Penguin."
Penguin suits you, Mari... I thought it would suit me too, but I guess not.
MW got "chickadee," just like me. I hope she doesn't feel offended that she didn't get to post her own results, but I found that interesting. All you have to do is hit the "I like singing" option twice or so, and VOILA!
...I did indeed get chickadee. I still think I resemble a um, I just forgot the name of it, oh well. Maybe I'm more like a woodpecker, though...very annoying but funny to watch :) It was so fun to be at your house that day.
