creation, Cathie Ryan, moving, and school remarks

My, the power of hitting that "CREATE" button on the blogger menu. I am creating something! Breathing life into the void!

Yeah, right.

A few notes. Cathie Ryan's The Farthest Wave is a most excellent cd that I would highly recommend above all her other recordings and above many other people's works as well. Good song selections, marvelous back-up, and a great sound in her voice.

Our house is currently a massive wreck. I'll give you a hint: we emptied out our office. That's right. The three giant book-cases, the dusty game-closet, the school shelves and tall cupboard, the table, the guitar...

And our living room has yet to recover. O_O

The semester is reallio trulio almost over!!!! I have one more chapter of my Latin textbook, which happens to be the nice one about the Greek slave Medus and his Christian girlfriend Lydia in which we get to translate excerpts from the Vulgate. And my history is all done except for one last class and a final paper which I really don't want to discuss at the moment. >_> My government class has two sessions and a final exam left.

Do you all share my enthusiasm? Do you understand what this means for me?

It means, that I will get to start SUMMER SCHOOL! (infinitely more pleasant than normal school, because I have no online classes and therefore no deadlines. :P) Summer school will consist of some more history odds and ends, a couple modules of my biology textbook that I haven't finished yet, a BUNCH of trig homework, and...studying for the PSAT. That last one will be the easiest, especially if I'm also faithful about my trig. <_<>_>

coming up in the next hour: an old online article I read before Latin class today that maybe you haven't seen, and if you have, well, here's one more place to see it. : P

My mom bought the cd. It has a lot of Gaelic singing on it, and a lot of John McCusker.

And the computers were moved out nearly a month ago, so I didn't include them in the list of things we moved yesterday.

They're all in the house today, tearing things up. .. . .

Sounds like a cool CD.

Your poor living room... *sniff* :)

Glad normal school is almost over for you. I'm sure it'll be good to be done with the intensive schedule you've been working with.
