"If your enemy is hungry...
...feed him poison."--Fric
Ok. Here I am again, with very little new.
The 1000-year-old Irish Psalter was a very intriguing case. I heard about it first on Mari's blog...
Here's some new silliness, borrowed from Pastor Shea's blog.
And we listened to this to on the way home from the YMCA last weekend. The show isn't in the archives yet, but it will be! Look out for the bluegrass harmonica player. He was the weirdest piece of virtuosity that I've seen anywhere.
And here is my latest book.
School starts in less than a week. I'm signed up for a 7:30 calculus class with a dubious Staff Instructor, whose name I will discover on the first day. X_X I'm currently still investigating the violin and classics courses. (oh, the joy of enrolling one week before classes start! Everything's full... :)

I appreciated the C.S. Lewis quote at the bottom of the page for your most recent book:
"For my own part I tend to find the doctrinal books often more helpful in devotion than the devotional books, and I rather suspect that the same experience may await many others. I believe that many who find that 'nothing happens' when they sit down, or kneel down, to a book of devotion, would find that the heart sings unbidden while they are working their way through a tough bit of theology with a pipe in their teeth and a pencil in their hand."
—C.S. Lewis
I find this true for myself.
P.S. The BBC like came up with 404.
Classes, classes, and more classes....
Yea for C.S. Lewis! :o)
That Psalter is really interesting, I bet that was an exciting find for that bulldozer, I didn't hear about that so thanks for sharing.
Fric's comment is one after my own heart. XD
IS that seven thirty in the morning or the evening? Surely not in the morning. 0_0
Rundy: In case you hadn't noticed, I fixed the link.
And yes, I feel the same as Lewis about Christian theology. It's rich.
FB: Hope yours are going well. We got those letters in the mail today, and Fric read hers to me without a stumble. She was quite excited, to say the least.
Shadow: You're welcome.
Elai: I knew someone would enjoy that bit of twisted humor. And yes, it's a morning class. RISE AND SHINE! *gack*
Has anyone looked at the Sacred Sandwich? Or are we all too ashamed to say?
*tsk, tsk*
I, too, grinned and then grinned again at Fric's devious take. :)
I did look at the Sacred Sandwich and am not afraid to say it ;)
Some of the photos were funny, but it got repetitive.
:-)
