Del Capo Al Fine

I have an empty xanga right here.

You may visit it. I'll post more of the mundane everyday story-telling over there, keeping this blog in its true form of random weirdness. It's sad :( to me that I have both. However, many xanga-minded friends and acquaintances of mine don't bother visiting the blog, and so I must accomodate them. (With grudge and secret elation.)

The classical violin station at Accuradio is brilliant, wonderful, and otherwise exceptional.

Speaking of random wierdness (proper spelling eludes me), I have a head cold.

And it's Sunday. I slept from 9:20 AM to 12:50 today without any objection or scruple. Except that my feet were cold, because my room's cold, and my hair had the electricity of a live wire when I woke, requiring more than a dash of cold water to loosen the hold of its clingy strings from my face.

Eugene Ysaye, sonatas for solo violin. (and have you ever heard Midori play solo Paganini??? Well, if you haven't, DO. :)

My next order of business? Private worship service. My singing voice remains functional, thank you GOD!!!

Signing off,

Annie Laurie

Just a note: "Shadow" is L.W., the young man who's been hanging around with the CY and helping my siblings make movies. His family visited church one weekend (remember--I think they stayed either with you all or with the Gamgees?), and he taught my Brother2 and our pastor's oldest son how to fence one day after church.

We missed you yesterday in church! That's a long time you slept. Brother1 was sick, too. (Correction to my above comment--it was Brother1 (P), not S, who tried to fence.)

By the way, I visited your Xanga. Since I don't have one, though, they won't let me comment, post, sign the guestbook, etc. *groan* Looks like a good page, though--can hardly wait to read what you post, as usual. :)

That's exactly what I hate, loathe, and despise about Xanga. It's so EXCLUSIVE!!!

You can leave your comments here, Frodo. I'll check both blog and xanga at the same time anyway. :)

So sorry that your Brother1 is ill. Will he make the basketball game tonight? I hear tell that the little Brigaders are tagging along to work concessions. (Have fun, Mr. P------!)

Missy, it is now Monday. Here's what I can say: Robitussin (four teaspoons) taken at five-forty-five AM, along with a large supply of Kleenex and an endless string of taped lectures, works WONDERS for one's patience and overall cheer. I'm feeling great.

Here's the unfortunate side of things: True to form, my various systems have transposed my headcold into full-blown bronchitis. (*WHEEZE*)

But one doesn't notice that so much, if she has a well-working inhaler and a warm space in bed. ^_^

I hope you all are having a great day!
