I always heard that white roses signified death.
Of course, now I feel the need to make this post worthwhile. It seems like a silly quiz shouldn't amount to a whole post, especially when I haven't written anything in such a long time.
Tlepolemus and Frac gave me two lovely balls of red velour yarn for Christmas. Who has any ideas what I could make with that? I'm already making myself a perfectly good scarf, and I don't have enough to make a throw blanket... anyway, what a pleasant dilemma to have!
They're watching "The Angel and the Badman" out in the living room. *BLEAH*
Shall I explain the title of this post? I can, in one word: BOB. (if that doesn't ring a bell, don't bother asking.. :o)
Tonight we might finish watching "The Right Stuff." It's full of Air Force language (this was the '50s) and we've had to fast forward some scenes... Papa says we ought to see "Apollo 13" instead. Anyone seen that? (the only reason we're watching aforesaid film is because someone just donated it to us because they didn't want it; parents watched it and decided it was worth keeping.)
This post feels about like I do. (confused and lethargic, a little too lively for my own good)... I have a lot of great stuff I COULD say (it being break and all...), but it should wait for another time and place.
Here's a familial prayer request: Miss Fric ain't feeling so good. Her ear hurts.

Just a little update... Fric has strep throat. Pray we don't all get it before we're supposed to leave on Friday.

Yeah, white roses are supposed to signify death. And I don't think black roses are very common (though this chick who wrote the quiz probably wants it to mean something Gothic--did you see how morbid her questions were?!).
