Thinking of something to say...

The only line from the Koine Greek New Testament that I ever learned was the saying of the disciples, after Jesus calmed the Sea of Galilee--

"Who therefore is this man, that even the wind and sea obey Him?"

Sometimes the simplest things come back to us at the strangest times. I felt a little ashamed of myself as we were sharing prayer requests in Enid. The weight of these words finally hit bottom. Christ has all authority!

Tack took her CNA skills test, and hasn't officially heard back. But the examiner said she did "Fantastic." Good sign, I guess...

I applied for two teacher's aid/childcare positions, one at the Renaissance School of Sangre Ridge, the other at the YMCA. I'm very excited about the possibility of being hired in either place. Please pray that God will provide. (because we know He will.)

Wow, that sounds like way more fun than working at Wally World. :o)

Psalm 107 is one of my favorites (the whole thing, not just the part we always sing :o), and I always remember that part where Christ calms the waves and sea. Not only is He in charge of nature, but also of us and all the things we do so that even the mistakes we make are for His glory. What a King we serve!
