End-of the-Week

God did provide. Thank you for your prayers. I have been given an 8-11 AM teaching position at Covenant Community Daycare, and a 12:30-6PM teacher's assistantship at Renaissance (of all places, in the infant room! How much education can an infant take in one day? As I've discovered, not much. Haha).

I will give a brief description, which makes things sound both better and worse than they really are.

There are two infant classes. One is the small infant class. All those students are very beautiful, cuddly, and lie placidly where they are set.

I am in the other class, also known as the Hoodlum Asylum. All my subjects are somewhere between sitting and walking. They either tip over or fall over, and all holler to high heaven when they are the slightest bit bored. Thankfully they don't always know what they want. Yet they grab everything (fellow students' hair and snack, teacher's glasses), open every cupboard, and find every dusty forbidden nook.

So naturally, the teacher of this class and I have a LOT more fun than the other teacher. For the last hour of the day, when some of our Hoodlums are already safely back in their parents' arms, the small infant teacher goes home, and we take the last few tiny babies into our class. They gaze serenely at the mayhem around them, and do nothing. Much to our relief. The only mishaps that may occur, are those in which an older baby comes around to inspect the tiny one, and begins smushing its poor little face with an inquisitive paw...

~Pray for my neck. It has been mysteriously injured and I haven't been able to move it for about 24 hours now. And yes, I'm a whiner. If you think I'm bad on the blog, just talk to my sister. Or better yet, my dad.

Most of my readers will be at church tomorrow. I'll see you then.

Thank God!

It sounds like a good place for you--in the zoo. ;o) As an experienced zookeeper, you'll get along just fine, I'm sure. *grin*

Thanks for coming over today! It was so much fun to laugh and laugh.... I'll have to invade your house sometime. Maybe the week after next, to escape after our family photoshoot. :o)
