WATER!
I love the Biblical symbolism of water.
Ever thought about it?
The words of a man’s mouth are deep waters; The wellspring of wisdom is a flowing brook. (Prov. 18)
Peter, focusing his eyes on Jesus, walked on water.
God parted the depths of the waters so the Israelites could walk through.
God spared Noah from water, symbolizing baptism. (I Peter 3)
Baptism is the washing of water (symbolizing sanctification).
Psalm 66--we have gone through fire and water by Your doing.
Is. 43:When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.
and Psalm 46: There is a river whose streams make glad the City of God.
Water coupled with blood brings out even more.

Hmm...

Great post!
Water is so important as a sign of cleansing.
In LOTR, bad guys are always afraid of water because god's power is in the waters.
