Sights and Sounds
Sight:
Fric in Ruby's lavendar velveteen dress, princess crown, and white pumps:
"Wow! Are you a princess?"
"That me is!"
Sound:
~brothers talking to Mama about cleaning out the garage:
"We picked up ALL the cardboard off the garage floor."
"Is it in the trash-can?"
"Yeah."
"I hope you put it in a bag."
"Mhm. But we probably can't get it out now that we pounded it down with sticks and boards."
"We tried, but it wouldn't budge!"
(and yes, I went out later to verify this story: the trashcan was chock full of pancake-like cardboard, wedged tightly into a bursting bag)

~Beverly Hillbillies: Garden Party
On Wednesday, we saw a hummingbird playing in our sprinkler. Oh, was that funny!

What a zoo! :)
Yesterday I was buzzed by a hummingbird. He was in a hurry.
I can remember times when our trash can was stuffed full of things the younger boys had picked up around the yard... FYI, we keep all ouut outside toys outside, on the ground, so there were some things that had to be rescued. Seems like your brothers have their heads screwed on the right way. ^_^
